When we think of the “Faithfulness” of God, we tend to think of His dependability and steadiness. I would like to challenge you to consider however…the fullness of His Faith.

I’d like to focus closely on the words of Jesus in Mark 11:22

“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God”.”

The literal translation for the words of Jesus are, “Have the faith OF God

Does God have faith in the power of his own words?

Obviously, the answer is YES!   We can look around us at the amazing complexity of creation, and see the results with our own eyes. It is the evidence of the FAITH of God in His words.

Everything that God did in creation was begun by a word, and brought into reality by His faith in His own words

In Hebrews 11: 3 it says, “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”

This verse is not saying that the universe was created from nothing. It is simply saying that things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Jesus worked this way again and again, and this is the FAITH he is describing in Mark 11:22.

If we will get out of the way with our own feeble attempts to convince our brains, and simply BELIEVE that everything HE said is true, then THE FAITH OF GOD comes alive in our hearts.

We can believe with God’s faith on the power of God’s word.

This truth alone has freed me up completely from the condemnation the devil has brought in the past when he would accuse me of not having enough faith in a situation.

Ironically, it’s this exact argument that many Christians have used to convince themselves and others that it is not always God’s will to heal, or to prosper, or to bless in every situation.

They have looked to their circumstances to define the depth of God’s love and provision for them, instead of BELIEVING the written WORD of God, and allowing it to define and change the reality of their circumstances themselves.

If there is a single command that I see Jesus repeating again and again, it is this command to BELIEVE.

Do not allow your heart to be drawn into the lie that if you’re not seeing something good manifest in your life, that it wasn’t God’s will to bring good to you.

Always go back to the WORD OF GOD with the simplicity of a child and BELIEVE!

If you will only BELIEVE, you allow the Faith of God to work on your behalf, and over time His Word will begin to manifest effortlessly in your life.
